As a salon when choosing hair extensions for our clients we consider length, colour and method and of course affordability. We have created this guide to help you decide which method may be the best option for you x
During a consultation we will sit with you and discuss exactly how many extensions you are going to need, the best suited method to you and your lifestyle, the length that is going to work well with your natural hair and most importantly colour match you. Until we know these factors, we cannot give you a price.
Lighter or rooted hair extensions are sometimes quite a lot more expensive than darker hair and we would much rather give you an accurate price based on what you specifically need rather than an off the cuff price where you could end up paying more than you need to be.

Nano Bonds
Naturally Beautiful
This is our most popular method of extensions. This method is for people who don't want to use heat on their hair and want to get the most amount of time out of their hair extensions.

This method is great for different lifestyle factors. E.g. If you are a gym-goer, then nano/micro rings are usually the most functional method for you, because they don’t react as sensitively to heat, sweat & moisture, compared to other extension methods and they are easily
pulled back into ponytails and buns.

With this method you will need to have a refit reusing the same hair every 8-10 weeks. The hair can last up to 12 months in total if you are following aftercare advice perfectly. Available in 14", 16" 18", 20", 22", 24". & 28" Depending on which company we use for your visit here at The Powder Rooms.
Tape Extentions
Simply Beautiful
Tape hair extensions are a semi-permanent hair extension method that usually lasts around 6-8 weeks before needing adjustments.
More permanent and less bulky than clip in extensions, they are favoured for their quick and easy application time and for their natural-looking finish. Fast application – A full head of tapes can usually be fitted in under one hour. Low maintenance - Tape Extensions are the easiest method to maintain due to their width and how comfortable they lay on the scalp. Most people forget they have them in!

Micro Weft
Quick and easy but beautiful
Our thickest hair extension weft compacts 150g of pure Double Drawn Remy hair onto a flat, double wefted lace design, preventing shredding, withstanding washing and out performing other weft extensions. The ‘Double Drawn’ process means that all shorter hair strands are removed and only full bodied hair makes up the hair weight, resulting in thicker fuller hair from the root to the tip.
This method does not involve heat. The weft is applied using a row of beads and is then sewn through the beads. We recommend having a weft tighten every 6 weeks or a refit (reusing the same hair) every 6-8 weeks. Great for natural hair growth: With a weave in place, your natural hair is tucked away, so it requires very little up-keep and gives your natural hair a rest from harmful heat styling/damage. This is great for those who are trying to grow their hair underneath.

Invisible Weave
Mega hair
This method is BRAND NEW!
It is exactly the same as the Micro Weft however the wefts are sandwiched together meaning you have absolutely no beads on show when you wear your hair up, completely invisible! Perfect right?!
The maintenance side of this method is exactly the same as the standard weave, the only difference is that this is completely Invisible.
